I am merely looking now into what is involved and what are the all-time options. Obviously we do not want to fully interruption the bank as nosotros are on a upkeep, but we want to get something safety and easy to utilise/calorie-free as possible within our budget. As far equally upkeep goes, I do not know how much the whole matter will cost simply we practice not desire to proceed it under $500-$600 (this might be unrealistic but I do not know)

I see some other posts that say that it is cheaper to buy the seats in stages instead of a convertible seat. also I saw that some people say to buy a stroller separate and not a travel system or whatever its called. UGH. There are so many options and I do not know where to first.

Any suggestions would be helpful

Heya OP, congrats btw. my wife's due around the same fourth dimension as well. We're first time parents too. Curious, take you narrowed down your car seat /stroller combo yet? We recently took a look at the Graco fashion click connect combo at babies r us, my wife really likes that i and will be keeping an eye out for it on BF. It was on sale for $4 99 this weekend. Amazon has it as well :Graco Modes Click Connect Travel System, Onyx https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B011YW0QQK/ref ... XBb1AHM4Z7

For a stroller, these were some things we thought about.
Where volition you lot utilize it? Are y'all a jogger or outdoorsy family, or are you lot a mall roamer? Nosotros spend more time outside than indoors and as such went with a jogger considering they manoeuver better on trails, and is much more than of a smoother ride on uneven surfaces like wooden docks.
Weight of stroller and general convenience of stroller. You will see how easy/hard information technology is to fold it, but too lifting the thing in and out of a torso. Potentially a lighter stroller will be meliorate for you and this could exist more expensive, but that's the toll you will be paying for convenience. Lighter strollers hateful less strain on your back, simply a flake more on your wallet.
Pushing experience. This one sounds airheaded (I laughed when sales reps said this to me) but information technology's quite of import on how does the stroller feel in your hands. You will exist pushing that thing and if it's non comfy for you, you will hate it. For usa the primal difference for the experience was the type of wheel information technology used. We found prophylactic tires to be the better than the hard plastic/foam wheels. I don't feel the vibrations and for me that was what fabricated the concluding conclusion.

We tested a bunch of different strollers and ended upward with the Bumbleride Indie. Nosotros loved the 3 wheel feel with prophylactic tires (it comes with a pump to inflate tires). Aside from the 3 wheels, another major benefit was the awning. Probably one of the largest on the market. So you can proceed baby protected. The stroller is front facing only, and then a bit of a challenge in the beginning since baby wants to run into y'all when they get out. Nosotros had to take the machine seat installed for that purpose. Only as they grow upward, they'll desire to look out more and front facing is better for them. This stroller is not light. It'southward almost 24lbs and getting it in and out of the torso can be a bit tiresome. Every bit a comparison, if you went with an Uppababy arrangement, al yous would need is the stroller chassis in the torso and then just connect the car seat on it (without the stroller seat). The chassis for the Uppababy is ultra low-cal by comparison to the Bumbleride. I can one mitt to accept the Uppababy in and out of the trunk, whereas 2 easily with the Bumbleride.

Just my opinion of the Graco all in ane system, the cheaper ones felt inexpensive, and heavier. Again, the wheels were a large bargain breaker. You wont feel information technology when pushing it in a shop since the floors are super smooth.

Howdy !

Firstly, a BIG Congratulations !! We bought a Graco stroller ( one with iii wheels ) from Babies R The states store. We got it for 430 and came with a machine seat as well. And then far we love it. At present that my son is 3, i generally utilise it to stock groceries in the bottom section while my son is in the motorcar seat identifying all the veggies and fruits.

Equally the baby cannot directly sit down in the stroller seat check for a stroller where the car seat can fit or you tin can go an adapter to attach the car seat to the stroller. Better if you tin can return the motorcar seat get a travel system instead. Graco has some decent travel sustems under $600.

when I had our 1st child, the stroller we nosotros loved and used the about was some inexpensive $l umbrella stroller from walmart
Why? it's light, compact, and merely throw it around similar nothing.

We also had $1000 Stokke, which just sat in the storage, because information technology was likewise big and too heavy.
That affair was massive even folded. it took about of our full size SUV body.
Out of all the crap we bought for our kickoff built-in, I would say Stokke was the biggest waste of money.

My married woman volition be having 2nd one next summer, my program is to buy inexpensive stroller/infant car seat combo, and when infant is big enough(around 2yr) for umbrella stroller, I'll get a decent umbrella stroller.
